Throughout the weekend, expert instructor Marea will guide you through four pottery techniques in the basement studio. From mastering the pottery wheel to hand-building techniques, you'll uncover the secrets of crafting functional pottery items with your own hands.
No prior pottery experience? No problem! Whether you're a novice or a seasoned pro, our retreat caters to all skill levels. All materials are provided, allowing you to dive headfirst into the creative process without hesitation.
You'll learn the art of glazing and the intricacies of loading and unloading a pottery kiln. With 25 years of experience teaching visual art and two decades of pottery expertise, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to every session.

Embark on a transformative Claycation journey crafted for pottery enthusiasts.
Arrive Friday evening and get settled in with charcuterie board in the third floor attic accommodations.
Saturday is a full day in the studio learning 4 pottery techniques.
Sunday is again a full day in the studio working on your own creations using the techniques taught. Wrap up around 5pm.
Your pottery stays with me to go through firing and glazing to be shipped when all done.
Depart with new skills, memories, & lasting camaraderie.
