Over my 21 years of working with clay, I've created this unique roadside destination where my handmade, prairie-inspired functional pottery waits on shelves with simple price tags—mugs, bowls, plates, and decorative pieces all inspired by our endless Saskatchewan skies. Elemental Claycation is Saskatchewan's only immersive pottery retreat, offering all-inclusive two-day experience in my restored 1919 heritage home. Each retreat accommodates a maximum of 6 guests and includes expert pottery instruction covering wheel throwing, hand-building, and glazing techniques, all meals prepared using local ingredients, heritage home accommodations, and all materials and tools. With 21 years of teaching experience, instruction is tailored to all skill levels from complete beginners to experienced potters. Retreats run from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon, and finished pottery pieces are available for pickup or shipping 4-6 weeks after firing. Only 12 retreats are offered annually, making each weekend an exclusive opportunity for creative transformation and meaningful connection.
