Watering Concrete, Filling Shelves & Pouring Heart Into It All

Updated: Aug 11

So... the plumbing is officially IN.

✅The concrete has been poured.

✅And guess who’s out there watering it like it’s a prized prairie garden?

Yep. That would be me. Marea. Creator of Claycation, keeper of cozy shelves, and now—apparently—chief concrete caretaker.

But this isn’t just about cement and pipes (although... those are a pretty big deal right now). It’s about what’s coming—the new Schoolhouse at Freba Pottery, built with intention, love, and a vision to bring you an experience like no other.

This is Stage 2, my friend. And let me tell you—it’s starting to feel very real.

The Schoolhouse project at Freba Pottery is in full swing—plumbing is in, concrete is poured, and the dream is coming to life. Explore new merch, Claycation openings, and behind-the-scenes updates in this fun summer blog!

So... what’s next?

Right now, I’m soaking it all in—literally and figuratively—and dreaming of the mugs, memories, and magic that will fill this new space in 2026. The vibes? Think Claycation 2.0: same soul-filling retreat, but with fresh prairie energy and even more room to get muddy, sip deeply, and reconnect with what matters.

Meanwhile, Over in the Highway Store...

Let’s talk STRAW CUPS. Yes, those ones. They’re back, flying off shelves, and are the ultimate reminder to pause, sip, and savour the little things.

Also: My new merch is in (and yes, you’re gonna want one). The shelves are full, the door is open 24/7, and the breeze smells like summer and stoneware.

And Claycation 2025

Still has a few cozy spots left, but not for long. If you’re dreaming of a retreat where your Christmas list gets handmade, your soul gets filled, and your hands stay covered in clay, this is your moment. A simple $500 deposit saves your spot.

Let’s make August the month you say yes to something memorable.

It's Because of You...

Thanks for walking this journey with me. It’s happening—because of YOU.
